Plan your ideal retreat with us! The Uplands offers optimal retreat flexibility. Groups can tailor the experience to meet the needs of their attendees and ensure they achieve their retreat goals. This can range from highly structured schedules, to unstructured schedules free of time-bound commitments, and any variation in between.

Design an experience that integrates with your desired activities and allows your group to have a fun, growth-promoting experience. Explore the possibilities: strategic planning sessions, leadership development activities, brainstorming exercises, guided nature hikes, deep tissue massage, gentle yoga, centering meditation, sunset watching, lawn games, relaxation in the pool and sauna, and making s’mores by the bonfire.

In order to assist with planning your retreat, we’ve outlined an example retreat day below. Again, this is just for purposes of illustration as our goal is to work with you to build a schedule that best serves your specific needs. In addition to meals, a typical day includes as many as five activities from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m, including “Open/Free Time” if desired. Happy Planning!

  • 7:00 - 8:00 A.M.

    ACTIVITY 1: YOGA, FOREST BATHING OR OPEN/FREE TIME

  • 8.30 - 9:30 A.M.

    BREAKFAST

  • 10:00 - 1:00 P.M.

    ACTIVITY 2: WORKSHOP 1, TEAMBUILDING, OR HIKE

  • 1:30 - 2:30 P.M.

    LUNCH

  • 3:00 - 5:00 P.M.

    ACTIVITY 3: WORKSHOP 2, FARM TOUR, OR CREATIVE ARTS

  • 5:00 - 6:00 P.M.

    ACTIVITY 4: WORKSHOP 3, OPEN/FREE TIME OR POOL/SPA

  • 6:30 - 7:30 P.M.

    DINNER

  • 7:45 - 10:30 P.M.

    ACTIVITY 5: OPEN/FREE TIME, BONFIRE OR EVENING MEDITATION
