The Arc of Delaware County helps children and adults with disabilities live personally fulfilling lives through a variety of innovative supports and services. Through in-home learning and support, children’s services, training & employment, and adult residential programs, Delaware develops a unique life plan designed to reflect the individual’s talents, interests, and desired outcomes.

The Uplands had the honor of hosting staff from Arc’s Residential Program for a day of team building and renewal after a very difficult year. These folks are dedicated to supporting some of our the most underserved in our communities, and Covid added additional workload, tremendous barriers and unforeseen challenges. The group held a leadership meeting, engaged in team building activities, and enjoyed free time though self-guided walks, yard games, and pool/spa time.

ARC, thank you for your work in the world — for dedicating your time to building programs and pathways for individuals who have so much to give, but are often overlooked.
