United Healthcare Services (UHS) is a locally-owned non-for-profit system that operates four hospitals in upstate NY.  Their mission is to improve the community’s health and meet its needs with state-of-the-art hospitals, physician practices, long-term care and home care services.

The administrative team from Delaware Valley Hospital visited The Uplands this past July for their annual planning session. Utilizing the dining hall as the home base for their large gathering, the group engaged in presentations and discussions around their strategic plan. During the mid-day break, the group enjoyed a garden-fresh lunch and an “activity hour” featuring a flowery art workshop, a chair yoga session, and a meditative nature walk.
