Women Inc is a national organization that serves to empower women to grow and feel comfortable in the workplace. The Delaware County chapter gathered at The Uplands to bond as a team, explore new wellness practices, and connect more deeply around their mission.

The day opened with a chair yoga class, in which the attendees connected with their minds, breath, and bodies in a supportive and safe environment. After this grounding start, the guests enjoyed a nutritious lunch in the expansive dining hall, overlooking the newly-green springtime hills. In their afternoon meeting, Women Inc volunteers discussed what it could look like to expand their mission further to help support the community in addition to themselves. This brainstorming session gave permission to team members to dream big and share what local issues feel most pertinent. The retreat wrapped up with a stroll to the vista shed under clear May skies.
